Review Time –

The book is about three different characters who meet by chance with each other at a metro station. It is the story of Jai Prakash Sharma, a troubled teenager who dreams of making it big in the animation industry, Hussain, a tea shop owner who is facing troubled times because of his poverty and won a lottery worth 50 lac rupees and Krishnaprasad Iyer a.k.a Iyer. Iyer is the best character in the book.

When Strangers Meet is divided into three parts, The Runaway, Iyer’s Story and Revelations

In first part, Jai Sharma, a youngster is too fed up of everyone around him. He wishes to get into acting but his father is totally against it. But his father wanted him to take admission in an engineering college. And he runs away from his house. I loved the first fast as it is hilarious and shows relationship of father and son.

The second part of the book is a little slow. I could not connect well to this part. The third part of the book is best part of the book. You can expect all unexpected in this part. Best part of the book is climax. The last few pages will sweep you off your feet; it will make you cry.
There are many reasons why a book appeals to a reader. Some like the cover page, plot on back cover.

Author’s writing is very simple and the book is an easy read. Characterization is done pretty well as they come alive to you. You can feel them around you. Narration part is also written very well. I found this book hilarious as it made me laugh my lungs out.

Only flaw I found is grammatical and printing mistakes. But they can be ignored as flow of story is so good. I would like to rate this book 3.5/5. I would like to recommend this book to everyone out here who are looking for fresh story to read. You can give it a try. It really worth a read. You will enjoy reading it. Overall, light read for weekend with fresh concept.
