Now, Review Time –

You’re Password To My Life, when I heard the title, I wanted to buy the book and read it immediately as I’ve read all of his books. This is Sudeep Nagarkar’s fifth book and all the previous books are bestseller. Author have a story to tell and it’s a great one. You’re Password To My Life is a tale about friendship  which gives you goose bumps, and will make you jump out of your skin while reading it. This book is a little slow in starting and takes its own time to pick up the pace but once it picks up the pace, it’s unstoppable. The story is very fluent and gripping. It trips forward without any amazement and twists that you cannot pick well before. All characters are sketched very well and they make book and plot more interesting. None of the character feels like out of story. But, I want author to work on this part. On characterization. I want something fresh, not like the every book. It feel repetitive. While certain descriptions, sub plots and bonding they all share in the friendship, and few romantic scenes were mesmerizing. The story is very different, refreshing and unpredictable. It is written in very easy language and is simple to read. The twists will blow your mind off.

Author’s language is really fresh and the narration is entrancing. The simple words and simpler narration keep the read interesting and the clear context of events doesn’t break the flow. But I wanted more from the author. I read it cover-to-cover in six hours and do not regret the time spent. It would be hard for you to put down the novel before it finishes and when it will finish, you will definitely say, ‘I want to read more books from the author!’ I will rate this novel 4/5 and will recommend to everyone who are waiting to read something new from Indian authors. Indian authors are now someone to look out for.

Now, Review Time –

Café Latte is a collection of eighteen short stories. Plus point of this book is that every story is different and unusual. Each story is more overwhelming than the last based on different genre. Each story is written in more perfect way than the last one.  What makes these love stories unusual? Writing style? No! A story never told before? No! Subject? Maybe, yes! Let’s find out.

Each story has a different setting, different way of telling the relationships. Market is being flooded with anthologies every day and I was so fed up with the reaction and content of those anthology. But After reading this, I can say this is a different anthology after a very long time. Through each story, author has tried to explore different shades of human relationships, which happens around us in daily life.

If someone ask me to pick up my favorite stories out of eighteen, than would be tough call. But I personally enjoyed reading each page of the book. “The Black Widow”, “26 Down Express”, “Code of Honor”, “The Jazz Player”, and “The Other Side” are one of the perfectly written stories and these stories shook me from inside. Even after reading them, I couldn’t take them out of my head for a very long time. Each story seems like it is happening in front of your eyes and that’s the best thing about the book. The language is simple and comprehensive. Narration style of the author is awesome.

On the whole, stories are very engrossing which makes the book a perfect page turner. Book holds the attention of reader from the page one to the last one. Once started, then it is impossible to put down the book until you finish reading it. It has all the elements in this which a good book should have. Best part about book is conversation part in each story. Every story is very well written and compelling. In each story, there will be a moment for sure when you’ll be excited as hell guessing what you will happen next and you will think of skipping the few pages and read the climax directly.

A Gripping book which doesn’t allow the reader to keep the book down until you finishes reading it. A complete page-turner. I would like to rate this book 4.5/5. This book worth reading as it have something different to offer. “Café Latte” stands out recommended by Read In Park. You will enjoy it.

All future is defined by the past.

And therefore, the end is only the beginning.

After burying the vicious Kalingan warrior, Akash, Tara and Zubin are continuing their lives as before, hiding the fact that they are a part of King Ashokas exalted Nine and that each of them has powers meant to be used for the benefit of mankind, when needed.

Except, things are not as quiet as they seem to be.

The Kalingan warrior has risen once again angrier and more vengeful. And this time he knows each one of them. If they dont destroy him now, they will be hunted down and the world will be battling its worst, most terrifying chemical warfare yet.

This second book in the Nine trilogy will change the way you look at time and space.

Experimentation with mythology is something new in popular Indian English writing. Every time I pick up a mythology, I try to gain knowledge from that particular book, about that particular time in which book is set. And when I picked up “Nine: Vengeance of the Warrior.” I had only one question in mind what this had to offer me.

I don't remember the last time I read a book that totally blew me off! This book is a pretty enigmatic tale of a hidden society formed by the ancient Indian king, Ashoka, the great that since then has been thriving right in the middle of civilization, going out of its way in helping humanity to survive and prosper perfectly. The society is run by nine protectors and is guided by monks.

Nine: Vengeance of the Warrior is a gripping spiritual cum mythological fantasy ride that will never lose the grip on the reader. Researched in depth, solid characterization and wide plot that works better for books in series. The story is very fluent and gripping. It trips forward without any amazement and twists that you cannot pick well before. Some characters are flat and not well developed. But some characters are sketched very well and they make book and plot more interesting. While certain descriptions, sub plots and brief introductions to history were mesmerizing and I took a particular liking in the spirituality. The plot reveals all the cards on the table, and ties all the characters and story very well together. It will definitely surprise you at times. Readers may brace themselves for a detailed history class. We recommend that you should read this book as it will take you on new journey itself. Mythological books require a lot of research and the author has done complete justice in this department.

Author has good imagination and has drafted an engaging story that keeps a reader hooked. The book is almost error-free. Narration skills of author are awesome. The author’s grip is steady throughout the narrative, feeding only those facts that he wants the readers to lap up, and hazing out evident clues that could have made you guess the mystery. The description of the places and situations is precisely done and it can’t be better than this.

To be honest, author has built a lot of expectations for me for her next book. I would like to rate it 4.5 out of 5. If you like mythologies, you surely should give it a shot. It definitely worth a read.
