"True Love Desire" by Pushpendu Mondal : A Review

On The Jacket –

No Conditions Applied...

When desire challenges destiny, destiny retorts it back. And by the time someone comprehends it, all the attempts of depicting true-love gets ruled out by the merciless fate.

Vikrant Oberoi, who is oscillating within the orbit of his cryptic past, travels all the way to India, in search for a true soul mate. And when he finally meets her, they realize that love is the prophesied abbreviation of pain. They fought back but only to gain disappointment. They complained but only to remain unheard from the divine. They even wailed but only to be suppressed by the screeching trysts of destiny. And when everything was in their favour, death made life its slave, whereas nightmares brutally copulated with dreams and eventually love has to pay for it all.

True Love Desire … no conditions applied!!! is a tale of love, life and friendship in a world where cruelty is the only blessing offered by fate to the former. Is it a curse to live alone or a compliment to be mystically together? Are you ready to confront with the deceptive reality?

Now, The Review Time –

It is very sweet and simple but mature love story. He has ended the novel pouring his heart feelings... It starts with very slow pace as it does not make any interest in starting but as you keep reading, you start getting the real touch of each character and you develop the interest in the story.

As a first time writer, Pushpendu Mondal has done an outstanding job. He has left a very good impression in the mind of readers with his very first book itself.

I just loved the way he has described every scene. The reader feels connected to it. The book is not at all predictable, and this is a plus point. His novel is very well-researched. The story has fresh concept and it’s well plotted. It is written in very simple, yet effective language as everyone can relate himself with it. At some places, story went very slow which disappoints a bit. It seems boring at places as it fails to hold your attention for long. But over all, it keeps you hooked. This is not another chic – lit love story. It’s a mature love story. I loved the author’s writing style which is new and mature. Poem are also really touching and describes the situation very well.

Summing Up –

The book is good and it is far away from college-romance-love-stories. It’s an entertaining read. You will enjoy it. I would like to rate it 3.75/5. It worth a read. You will enjoy it. It stands recommended by Read In Park.
