About the author :
This book is the sequel of the hugely successful book 'The Backbenchers -
The Extra Class'. The book is written by Durjoy Datta and Nikita Singh under
the ghost name Sidharth Oberoi. Neither Durjoy Datta nor Nikita Singh needs any
introduction.
Durjoy Datta is the author of six runaway bestsellers. His
books have sold over a million copies over the last three years and was the
third highest selling Indian author in the year 2011. At 24, he is one of the
youngest and the most prolific writers.
Nikita Singh is the bestselling author of "Love @
Facebook" (May 2011), "Accidentally In Love!" (September 2011)
and "If It's Not Forever ...It's Not Love!" (February 2012)
co-written with Durjoy Datta.
When it comes to Durjoy and Nikita, you can expect something different from
the leauge. I always pre-order books coming from Durjoy’s pen. Ya, its
different thing, I hate Nikita. But she is gorgeous.
Coming to the story :
This book is really different from first one. The first one was focused on
a number of characters such as Ananya, Natasha, Yuvraj etc....And their love
stories. But in this one author only focused on Natasha, her childhood friend
with who she came close again after many years, science quiz and her family
problems. And mainly on her pain.
Book connects well to the past one. In early pages, author has only shown
pain through which natasha has gone. The book disappoints in the suspense part.
There is no twist in story as we expect from Durjoy Datta. No thrill. The books
has totally new story. The main protagonists from the previous book, Ananya and
Yuvraj doesn't have much to do this.
Sequeal is not so much promising. The loneliness of a young teenage girl,
Natasha is well described with good
conversation. This book is more about family problems. Natasha's long lost
childhood best friend Shreya is justified very well. Only she was the friend of
her when Natasha was all alone. Who gave her company and forgave her for what
she did to her in past.
What happen next? Will she get her fame back? Or she lost herself in the
process. Will she take revenge from Ananya? Or will she forgive her.
Now, Review Time :
Story line is not so much good. But narration style is so much awesome in
comparison to last one. This book is not so thrilling, no twists. But emotions
are very well described. In some part of it while reading, i could feel the
tears on my cheeks. It will keeps you engaged with the narration style. Durjoy
and Nikita, you did nice job on narration. But you should also work on
storyline. I hope you will do this in next part
.
.
I will give it 3/5. A good read. Worth reading once. You can go for it.
