The Guardian Angels by Rohit Gore - A Review

On The Jacket –

The Guardian Angels is the epic and tumultuous story of two star-crossed lovers who weren’t just soul-mates but were also each other’s protectors.

The fates of Adi Mehta and Radha Deodhar are deeply entwined when within days of their first rendezvous they save each other’s lives.

Despite their vast sociopolitical differences, they are drawn to an uncertain future fraught with contrasting ambitions, personas and ideologies.

. . . he is the son of a billionaire, she is the daughter of a socialist.

. . . he is quiet and unassuming, she is a firebrand and spirited.

However, the unexplained phenomena ties them forever – whenever they are in peril, they are each other’s only saviors.

Over the following two decades Adi and Radha live through hope and despair, joy and sadness, and try to decipher their relationship. As the truth of their bond is revealed, they must confront the true nature of love, and ultimately, their destinies.

Now, Review Time –

It was last year when I had read The Circle Of Three by Rohit Gore. And it was awesome. And now I get chance to read his latest book and I had high expectation from this book. The Guardian Angels is a story which revolves around protagonist Adi and Radha and discover their journey of life. The book is divided in four parts. Every part is written so perfectly that readers feel connected to the story. I liked the diary of Radha. It’s something new. And all the entries in diary are written pretty well.

Rohit Gore’s writing style is mature and crisp. He writes from perspective of real grown-ups. If someone else had written down the same book, he/she would have ended up writing only crap. After his last book, I had expected this type of story from him. And author has done that very successfully. He lived up my expectations. This book is a slap across the faces who ends up writing mushy love stories.

Cover page is perfect and eye catching. It goes very well with the back blurb and the story. The back blurb is perfectly written and gave an impression to readers and intimates them to pick the book.

Rohit Gore has amazed me once again. His narration skills are awesome. Very different from all others. The language he has used is easy and neat which make it easier to live the character. I just loved the way he has described every scene. Every character in book is perfectly sketched that it almost looks real. The reader feels connected to it. He fixes the plot so perfectly that you can never doubt that it’s a fictional story. About this book, I am still doubtful whether it’s fiction or a true story. And if it’s fiction, then I think one should learn from Rohit Gore how to connect a fictional story with the real life.

Story is well knitted. All the characters are described very well. He must’ve did some research before writing this novel, and his hard-work can be seen throughout the book. There are so many unexpected twist and turns, which makes the book very interesting. The last Part of the story was emotional and its ending was highly unpredictable.

I find no grammatical or spelling mistakes in this book. Grapevine India has taken immense care of editing this time.

Verdict –

A Gripping book which doesn’t allow the reader to keep the book down until you finishes reading it. A complete page-turner and with a message in end. I would like to rate this novel 4.5/5. This book is worth reading and I highly recommend this to everyone. You will enjoy it. Kudos to Rohit Gore!
