Ohh! Gods Are Online : A Review

On The Jacket –

What if the Gods were living in the midst of mankind?
What if the Gods were as confused about life’s meaning as humans?
What if the Gods were addicted to social media?
‘Ohh! Gods Are Online..’ probes life’s questions as Chris, Krishna, Nick, Buddy Roy and all the bigger and smaller Gods get chatting online.

Now, Review Time –

Story starts with gods making account on social networking websites and conversing with each other. He starts conversing with Krishna and Buddha when he sees all gods are already online before him. All the conversations are philosophical. Sometimes they don’t sense at all. I liked the character of Sunderaman, Krishna’s boss whose only aim is to satisfy his desires. Personally, I find no plot in the book. It could have been 20-30 pages short as sometimes it feels boring to readers.

Book doesn’t have much humor in philosophy. Book didn’t make an interesting read to me at all. All conversations are almost flat and don’t entertain one at all. Many characters and scenes didn’t make sense. Author should concentrate on building characters so that they seem real and come to life when we read it.

Overall it’s a good attempt as it ends on good note. I liked the climax. It is fast paced book. Who are looking for light read over weekend can go for it. It will leave you with a good feeling. I would like to rate it 2.5/5.
