Sister's Love Story - a poem by Kritika Sharma

My story starts and will have no ends,
But it will have in it many bends;
A girl is there, short and cute,
Who met a boy tall, and he was a dude;
They met at relative’s place, they knew in,
None had an idea that it was because cupid’s conspiracy was beginning;
A hesitation was there, there was a fear,
Is the decision taken will not to be regret in tears?
The time will better tell, they left it on God,
And tied a knot in front of the holy fire as its ode;
Everyone was ecstatic,
Whatever was happening was fantastic;
A little one who was a daughter,
Was to form a home as a potter;
The boy who use to play, was to manage,
The responsibility put on them was not to damage;
It turned out better,
Because of them relations were closer than ever;
They got 2 homes to share,
And many more relations who care;
A commitment was made, that will never break,
And because of the increased intimacy it won’t even ache;
It’s a story of maturance of 2 people together,
They will support each other no matter what is the outside weather;
The time has never stopped, it will go on,
The daughter yesterday is today a would be mom;
Story here has not ended, but will move on,
A new generation is to come, and the sorrows will be gone;
We all are here to wish you happiness and a great life,
And a life void of any strife.
